At Halifax Stanfield International Airport, connecting means the world. This is where people are openly welcomed and interactions are smart, efficient and performed with ease. The new Halifax Stanfield logo was designed to express this sensation of ease – of being in the flow. Graphic elements are inspired by aerial views of runways and by the aerodynamic geometry in the stabilizer of a plane. The convergence of these elements exemplifies that the whole is greater than the sum of parts by revealing a letter ‘H’ in the negative space. Blues and greens are inspired by the east coast and the Atlantic Ocean.
