International Official First Day Cover
A five-stamp-series commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Titanic’s tragic maiden voyage. At the time, the Titanic was an engineering feat, being the largest man-made vehicle in the world. Two se-tenant domestic issues are juxtaposed on the stamp pane, one showing the towering bow and the other the stern and propellors of the massive ship. A fifth international stamp shows a side view of the Titanic at sea, navigating the waters of the North Atlantic.
